greenhill “work in progress”

In 2002, when I first started playing drums, a young kid named taylor rust who lived 2 doors down from me had just started playing guitar. We knew each other from skateboarding in front of my house. He came over one day and we started trying to play music together. Neither of us knew what the hell we were doing but we were having fun. This eventually turned into the band greenhill. We started putting songs together and I started recording them with a tape player. After a year and a half we had written 12 songs. I mixed this and turned it into an album entitled “work in progress.” the first few tracks are a little rough, but to me it captures something. this was the first sleepinghouse records release in 2004. 9 years later this album is now available and can be streamed in it’s entirety:
